Deck overview

This deck is a classic Mono-Green Stompy strategy built around Ghalta, Primal Hunger. The game plan revolves around accelerating mana in the early turns, deploying undercosted creatures with massive power, and leveraging their total power to reduce Ghalta's casting cost to just two green mana. Once Ghalta enters the battlefield as a 12/12 trampler on Turn 4, she establishes an immediate must-answer clock. The deck backs up this aggressive deployment with power-based card draw engines like Garruk's Uprising and Elemental Bond, refilling the hand as big threats enter. Combat multipliers such as Overwhelming Stampede and Unnatural Growth quickly scale the board into lethal trample damage across the table. While the deck boasts high redundancy in oversized beaters and resilient recovery, it lacks stack interaction and relies on standard combat steps over several turn cycles to eliminate three opponents.
