Deck overview

This deck is an Esper token swarm strategy led by Alela, Artful Provocateur. It capitalizes on casting low-cost artifacts and enchantments to build a wide board of flying Faeries. The deck accelerates in the opening turns with efficient mana rocks before deploying Alela on Turn 3. From Turn 4 onward, casting utility spells triggers steady token production while engines like Skullclamp and Coastal Piracy refill your hand. The deck transitions into a lethal clock on Turn 5 using mass anthems such as Coat of Arms, Cathars' Crusade, and Shadow Puppeteers. Defensively, pillowfort cards like Ghostly Prison and Magus of the Moat lock out opposing ground attackers, while top-tier interaction and protection spells like Fierce Guardianship, Flawless Maneuver, and Void Rend safeguard your board state until you close out the game through evasive combat damage on Turn 7.
