Deck overview

This is a Simic +1/+1 counter combo deck helmed by Zimone, Infinite Analyst, who discounts the first X-spell each turn and grows with +1/+1 counters. The primary game plan is to assemble infinite mana through untapper-plus-dork combinations - Freed from the Real, Pemmin's Aura, or Vigean Graftmage untapping a 3+ mana producer like Incubation Druid, Selvala, Heart of the Wilds, or Kami of Whispered Hopes - then convert that mana into a win via Walking Ballista, Finale of Devastation (X=10+), or the alt-win conditions Simic Ascendancy and Helix Pinnacle. A dense X-spell and counter-synergy package (Unbound Flourishing, Hardened Scales, Ozolith, the Shattered Spire, Tanazir Quandrix) supports both the combo and a secondary combat plan of enormous hydras and Fractal tokens.
