Deck overview

This is a Jeskai legendary-Wizard spellslinger deck built around Gandalf, Party Guest. Gandalf's combat trigger converts a developed Wizard board into a free instant or sorcery every combat, so the core path is curving out cheap legendary Wizards into him and then adding more Wizards to raise the free-cast threshold. The secondary path is a Wizard-token aggro plan with Talrand, Kykar, and Deekah, pumped by Adeliz, Balmor, and Jeskai Ascendancy. Copy effects such as Thousand-Year Storm and Storm King's Thunder multiply one free-cast payoff into a game-ending board. There is no true hidden commander: Gandalf the Grey is a strong value/copy piece in the 99, but the named commander is the central engine.
