Format: Commander

Commander: Drana, the Last Bloodchief

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Drana, the Last Bloodchief leads a mono-black midrange reanimator/voltron hybrid. Drana is both the reanimation engine and the main beatstick: each attack returns a nonlegendary threat from the graveyard with an extra +1/+1 counter, while equipment such as Brotherhood Regalia and Umezawa's Jitte make her unblockable and turn attacks into repeated value. The deck fills the graveyard with Entomb, Buried Alive, Vile Entomber, and Oriq Loremage, and uses tutors to assemble whichever piece is missing. A Dark Depths/Thespian's Stage/Marit Lage package acts as a hidden secondary finisher, and Crucible of Worlds can replay Dark Depths. Removal and discard keep the table honest, but the win is incremental: normally several attack phases, not a single combo turn.
