Deck overview

This Simic deck focuses on accelerating into its commander, Koma, World-Eater, as early as Turn 4 using a dense suite of low-cost ramp spells, mana dorks, and land enchantments. Once on the battlefield, Koma leverages its uncounterability, ward {4}, and 8/12 trample body to generate four 3/3 Serpent tokens each time it deals combat damage to a player. The deck compounds this token generation with multipliers like Doubling Season, Parallel Lives, and Adrix and Nev, Twincasters, as well as non-legendary clone effects such as Spark Double and Sakashima of a Thousand Faces. Card draw engines keyed to creature power and entry triggers keep the hand refilled with cheap protection spells and countermagic. The plan finishes opponents around Turn 7 via overwhelming trample combat damage or an overrun effect such as Triumph of the Hordes or Return of the Wildspeaker.
