Deck overview

Marchesa, Dealer of Death commands a Grixis midrange deck that turns interactive plays into steady card advantage. The deck leverages the Crime mechanic—targeting opponents, their permanents, or their graveyards—to trigger Marchesa's ability, sifting through the library to find answers and win conditions. Low-cost activators like Glasses of Urza and Codex Shredder provide free crime triggers every turn cycle, turning Marchesa into a repeatable card-selection engine. Efficient spot removal such as Snuff Out, Deadly Rollick, and Infernal Grasp controls opposing boards while continuously refilling your hand. The mid-to-late game transitions into potent Outlaw synergies and win conditions, featuring Revel in Riches for an alternate victory, Laughing Jasper Flint to steal opposing threats, and Double Down to duplicate Outlaw creatures. Supported by top-tier free interaction like Deflecting Swat and Fierce Guardianship, the deck maintains a resilient grip on the game while assembling a decisive board to finish all opponents.
