Deck overview

This Boros deck combines Cat tribal aggro with an Ajani planeswalker token engine led by Ajani, Nacatl Pariah // Ajani, Nacatl Avenger. The strategy focuses on establishing early board presence with low-cost Cats, transforming the commander through combat trades or sacrifice triggers, and rapidly expanding the token army using doublers such as Anointed Procession and Mondrak, Glory Dominus. The deck converts wide boards into decisive victories through direct damage outlets like Purphoros, God of the Forge and Impact Tremors, or massive combat overruns with Shared Animosity, Jazal Goldmane, and Akroma's Will. Robust defensive options like Flawless Maneuver, Flare of Fortitude, and Teferi's Protection shield the board during critical development phases, ensuring high resilience against sweepers while steadily overwhelming the table.
