Format: Commander

Commander: Olinda the Oblivious

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Olinda is a modest black attrition commander whose odor counters turn enemy creatures into a slow life-loss clock, but the deck is really a mono-black sacrifice, drain, and reanimation value shell. The main game plan is to generate small bodies and card advantage, then finish with a resolved Wound Reflection plus Pox Plague, which doubles Pox's half-life loss into a one-turn kill. Backup beats are big Exsanguinate lines, a copied Exsanguinate from Stensian Sanguinist, and Gray Merchant reanimation loops. Olinda is not the central combo piece; her main role is making blockers and equipment cards like Blade of Selves and Helm of the Host worth converging on. K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth is the hidden commander because he converts the deck's abundant life payments into black mana for the finish lines.
