Sauron, the Dark Lord by Rudolphosv

Format: Commander

Commander: Sauron, the Dark Lord

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

In this Grixis amass deck, Sauron, the Dark Lord is both the early draw engine and the reason every opponent spell grows an Army. The deck plays a tempo-control game: cast Sauron ahead of curve, use Ring-tempt effects to refill to seven, and let amass triggers build one massive Orc Army. The main finish is Assault on Osgiliath turning that Army into a hasted double-striking beatstick. Secondary plans are Goblin/Orc value attacks, sacrifice drain via Gorbag and Bolg, and Spiteful Banditry into treasures. There is no hidden commander; the deck is built around Sauron and the Army.
