Deck overview

This is a general-power Temur spellslinger deck. Iroh, Grand Lotus turns Lessons and other instants and sorceries in the graveyard into a temporary second hand during your turn. The deck uses that access with magecraft and cast triggers from Guttersnipe, Fiery Inscription, Storm-Kiln Artist, Archmage Emeritus, Ashling, Flame Dancer, and related cards. Its cleanest win is Niv-Mizzet, Parun with Curiosity. The combo is compact and wins immediately after the first draw, but it requires six-mana colored casting costs, an extra blue mana for Curiosity, and reliable access to an Aura that has no direct tutor here. Rhystic Study and the Lesson package improve the deck's long game, while Fierce Guardianship, Deflecting Swat, and other interaction protect key turns. The main limitations are slow assembly, moderate mana acceleration, uneven access to Curiosity, and limited recovery if both combo pieces are removed.
