Deck overview

This Rakdos deck is led by The Great Goblin, focusing on the amass mechanic, Goblin and Orc typal synergies, and aristocrat burn. The strategy curve begins by deploying cheap Goblins, followed by casting the commander on Turn 3 and an amass engine on Turn 4. Every time counters are placed on an Army, Goblin, or Orc, the commander burns an opponent for two damage. As creatures die in combat or through sacrifice outlets like Goblin Bombardment and Skirk Prospector, the commander exiles cards from the top of the library to provide steady impulse card flow. The deck builds toward a critical mass around Turn 6, using cards like Krenko, Mob Boss, Mirkwood Bats, and Gothmog, Morgul Lieutenant to drain life totals and attack with evasive Armies. While the deck recovers quickly from board wipes due to built-in card advantage, it has limited stack interaction and minimal protection spells.
