Deck overview

This mono-black deck helmed by Moseo, Vein's New Dean is a lifegain-driven recursion engine that leverages the commander's infusion ability to reanimate creatures each turn based on life gained. The primary game plan involves filling the graveyard, gaining life through various triggers (Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, lifelink creatures), and using Moseo alongside other recursion engines (Veinwitch Coven, Witch of the Moors, The Soul Stone) to repeatedly return threats. The deck's main win condition is the infinite life-drain loop of Sanguine Bond + Exquisite Blood (or Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose / Enduring Tenacity as substitutes), with Gray Merchant of Asphodel and Archon of Cruelty providing secondary value and drain. The deck is a grindy value pile that aims to outlast opponents through incremental advantage and a resilient recursion suite.
