Gandalf Storm (copy) by slowloris

Format: Commander

Commander: Gandalf, Party Guest

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Gandalf, Party Guest turns your board of legendary Wizards into a free-cast engine. The deck's primary plan is to develop Wizards, then use Gandalf to drop high-impact instants and sorceries at combat - especially extra turns, storm spells, and Dragonstorm. Secondary paths include Thousand-Year Storm copy chains, Niv-Mizzet/Prismari damage loops, and combat with Fiery Emancipation. The commander's role is both mana cheat and enabler; the hidden commander is Prismari, the Inspiration, which transforms every spell into a storm spell. Without Gandalf, the spell-slinger shell and cost reducers still function, but the explosive free-cast turns disappear.
