Format: Commander

Commander: The Great Goblin

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Great Goblin leads a Rakdos goblin/Army deck that wants to flood the board while stacking +1/+1 counters. The commander provides direct damage every time counters are placed and turns each Goblin/Orc death into an exile-draw, so the deck plays as a hybrid token swarm and counter engine. Krenko, Mob Boss is the hidden commander and main multiplier; Chieftain, Warchief, and General Kreat turn the token mass into hasty, damaging combat. Secondary wins are death-ping drains (Pashalik Mons, Boggart Cursecrafter) and persist loops using Putrid Goblin or Murderous Redcap plus First Day of Class or Thran Vigil and a sacrifice payoff. The deck can pivot between fast combo and resilient wide combat.
