Deck overview

This deck executes an Azorius mill strategy powered by Captain America, Living Legend and a package of sixteen Persistent Petitioners. Captain America's ability to untap each creature the first time it taps on your turn effectively doubles the output of tap abilities. Four Petitioners can activate their twelve-card mill ability, untap immediately via Captain America, and tap again to mill twenty-four cards in a single turn. The deck achieves explosive table-wide pressure on Turn 6 by utilizing Thrumming Stone, which ripples through the library to deploy a massive board of Advisors that mill opponents out over two response cycles. Defensive enchantments like Ghostly Prison and Propaganda shield life totals while the deck gathers its pieces. Secondary mill spells such as Traumatize, Cut Your Losses, and Maddening Cacophony provide alternate routes to deplete libraries rapidly.
