Deck overview

This Golgari deck is led by Nemata, Primeval Warden, functioning as an aristocrats engine and token swarm strategy. The deck accelerates in the opening turns with efficient mana dorks and land ramp before deploying Nemata on Turn 4. Nemata provides asymmetric graveyard hate by exiling opposing dying creatures and generating Saproling tokens, which fuel card draw and sacrifice outlets. The primary win condition is an infinite sacrifice and drain loop utilizing Chatterfang, Squirrel General and Pitiless Plunderer alongside an aristocrat payoff like Blood Artist or Bastion of Remembrance, which reliably closes games on Turn 5 with zero response cycles. Flexible Golgari removal, including Abrupt Decay, Assassin's Trophy, and Toxic Deluge, keeps threatening boards under control. If combo lines are disrupted, the deck pivots smoothly to wide board states buffed by Tendershoot Dryad, Nemata, Grove Guardian, or explosive storm turns powered by Bolas's Citadel.
