Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord by MegaAustin

Format: Commander

Commander: Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Golgari deck wins by growing creatures with +1/+1 counters, then sacrificing a huge creature to Commander Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord, to drain the table. Jumbo Cactuar creates the one-shot kill: its attack trigger makes it 10000/7, and Jarad's sacrifice ability turns that power into 10000 life lost by each opponent. The deck is built around the Jarad face as the drain engine and repeatable recursion, while it also has a solid fallback beatdown plan using trample and counter synergy. Secondary paths include a self-mill/land recursion package with Mole Man, Moloid Master, and a variety of equipment like Bone Sabres and Anduril, Narsil Reforged to build large attackers. The hidden commander is not a separate card; the deck is centered on making one giant creature, usually Jumbo Cactuar, and feeding it to Jarad.
