Deck overview

Prismari, the Inspiration leads an Izzet spellslinger and storm deck designed to convert low-cost instants and sorceries into massive card velocity and lethal burn. The deck accelerates through early turns using cost reducers like Baral, Chief of Compliance and Goblin Electromancer alongside efficient cantrips. Around Turn 5, it establishes vital draw and pinger engines such as Archmage Emeritus, Guttersnipe, and Fiery Inscription. The primary game plan culminates on Turn 6 in an explosive storm turn powered by Underworld Breach, Past in Flames, or the commander itself, copying rituals and burn spells like Grapeshot and Boltwave to eliminate all opponents in a single turn. Alternatively, the deck can assemble a compact infinite damage combo with Niv-Mizzet, Parun and Curiosity. While the deck possesses robust countermagic and rich card draw, it remains susceptible to well-timed graveyard hate and creature removal during its pre-combo setup turns.
