Balloon Party Budget by Afew2little

Format: Commander

Commander: The Jolly Balloon Man

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Boros list is an enter-the-battlefield copy engine built around The Jolly Balloon Man, a three-mana haste clown who pays {1} and taps to turn another creature into a 1/1 flying, hasty Balloon that dies at end of turn. The main plan is to land ping payoffs and ETB value creatures, then photocopy them for a second trigger and a same-turn attacker. Impact Tremors, Warleader's Call, Witty Roastmaster, Agate Instigator, Molten Gatekeeper, and Weftstalker Ardent convert every body into table-wide damage, while Village Bell-Ringer plus Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker - or the commander plus Ashnod's Altar or a mana Myr - can loop into a real win. Fair combat with anthems and giants, plus a theft suite that borrows opposing threats, backs the combo plan up. The commander is cheap and recastable, but Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker, Fable of the Mirror-Breaker, Determined Iteration, and Calamity, Galloping Inferno all make tokens, so the 99 still plays if the clown is answered.
