Deck overview

Bristly Bill, Spine Sower is a mono-green landfall and +1/+1 counter deck that aims to accelerate mana, flood the battlefield with lands and creatures, then double counters for an overwhelming combat finish. The commander is a force multiplier rather than a required engine: the deck can win through Craterhoof Behemoth, Finale of Devastation, or an infinite mana outlet such as Staff of Domination. Secondary paths include a large trampling board via Garruk Wildspeaker or Champion of Lambholt. The hidden commander is Ashaya, Soul of the Wild, which turns creatures into lands and enables several mana loops. The deck is built to use Bristly Bill's doubling ability as the primary payoff, with Ashaya as the enabler for explosive mana turns.
