Deck overview

This mono-red Dragon tribal deck focuses on accelerating into massive flying threats that dominate the board through raw combat damage and enter-the-battlefield triggers. Led by Sarkhan, Dragon Ascendant, the deck uses its commander primarily for early Treasure production and tribal scaling. A dense package of cost reducers and mana artifacts allows the deck to deploy high-CMC threats like Lathliss, Dragon Queen, Utvara Hellkite, and Terror of Mount Velus well ahead of standard timing. Continuous direct-damage engines like Dragon Tempest and Scourge of Valkas convert every Dragon drop into immediate removal or direct player damage. While the deck boasts immense offensive power and resilient creature redundancy, it possesses limited stack interaction and minimal protection against sweepers, making careful deployment and fast combat execution essential for victory.
