Deck overview

This Jund list is a sacrifice-and-counter synergy deck helmed by Kresh the Bloodbraided, with the primary plan of growing Kresh into a massive threat and then finishing via direct damage spells like Chandra's Ignition, Fling, or Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord's sacrifice ability. The deck also leans on value engines such as Greater Good, Moldervine Reclamation, and Skullclamp to convert creature deaths into cards, while counter doublers like Corpsejack Menace, Doubling Season, and The Earth Crystal accelerate Kresh's growth. Secondary routes include Port Razer for extra combats and Ziatora, the Incinerator for incremental reach. The commander is a central payoff but not the only win condition.
