New Untitled Deck by sannicola

Format: Commander

Commander: Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord leads a Golgari Elf-ball that combines fast mana dorks, +1/+1-counter engines, and lords. The deck wants to flood the board with small Elves, punch through with huge tramplers, then use Jarad to convert a single massive body (Abomination of Llanowar or a Timberwatch-pumped Elf) into life loss for every opponent. A secondary one-card combo, Umbral Mantle on any Elf that taps for three or more mana, can create arbitrarily large power and a Jarad drain if it appears. There is no hidden commander; Abomination of Llanowar functions as the preferred sacrifice target. The plan is linear and fast but fragile: it relies on an unevadable board and has almost no non-creature interaction.
