Deck overview

This deck is a high-impact artifact battlecruiser strategy piloted by Megatron, Tyrant // Megatron, Destructive Force. The core game plan revolves around casting Megatron for his alternate More Than Meets the Eye cost of {1}{R}{W}{B}. During combat, Megatron attacks as an animated vehicle, sacrifices an artifact, and burns a creature while redirecting excess damage to its controller. In the postcombat main phase, converting Megatron back into his robot form generates massive colorless mana proportional to the total life opponents lost that turn. This influx of mana is immediately reinvested into devastating colorless titans such as Blightsteel Colossus, Cityscape Leveler, and Triplicate Titan, or channeled into game-ending finishers like Torment of Hailfire. Supported by robust protection pieces like Darksteel Forge and Leonin Abunas, the deck presents an overwhelming board state that closes out multiplayer games across two combat rotations.
