First strike by Earless

Format: Commander

Commander: Kwende, Pride of Femeref

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mono-white first-strike tribal deck led by Kwende, Pride of Femeref, who grants double strike to every creature with first strike. The strategy is to flood the board with efficient first-strike creatures (Knight of Meadowgrain, Brightblade Stoat, Fiendslayer Paladin), pump them with anthem effects (Always Watching, Cathars' Crusade, Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite), and overwhelm opponents through repeated double-strike combats. A deep recursion package (Sun Titan, Karmic Guide, Faith's Reward) ensures the engine rebuilds after board wipes, while protection pieces like Mother of Runes and Selfless Spirit keep the key creatures alive. The primary win condition is combat damage; an explosive finish can come from Legion Loyalty turning every attacker into a myriad threat.
