Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir Midrange and Reanimator strategy piloted by Sivitri, Dragon Master. It combines an efficient early ramp package with curated self-mill and looting to bypass the high mana costs of powerful Dragons. Rather than relying on the commander as an engine, Sivitri serves as a repeatable Dragon tutor and a defensive tax against aggressive boards. The deck transitions into the midgame by reanimating or hardcasting game-warping threats such as Ancient Brass Dragon, Toxrill, the Corrosive, and Hoarding Broodlord. Asymmetric sweepers like Crux of Fate and Raise the Palisade clear opposing boards while keeping your flying threats intact. Lethal combat damage is supplemented by powerful death triggers from Kokusho, the Evening Star and mass reanimation via Living Death. A robust suite of cheap countermagic and targeted removal ensures that opposing threats are answered while your own game plan advances steadily to close out games around Turn 7.
