Deck overview

This deck is a high-tempo Grixis aggro deck led by Goro-Goro and Satoru. The game plan revolves around deploying cheap, unblockable creatures on the early turns, establishing the commander, and creating 5/5 flying Dragon Spirit tokens each time an entering creature deals combat damage. The deck quickly translates early combat connections into massive card advantage through effects like Coastal Piracy and Bident of Thassa. As the dragon army grows, scaling damage multipliers such as Dragon Tempest, Purphoros, God of the Forge, and Shared Animosity turn each combat step into heavy damage, while extra combat spells like Relentless Assault and World at War close the game around turn 7. The list is resilient against single-target disruption due to the commander's low mana cost and redundant aggressive threats, though it remains susceptible to timely board sweepers.
