Combat Evolved by LofiGaming

Format: Commander

Commander: Karlach, Fury of Avernus and Agent of the Shadow Thieves

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Karlach, Fury of Avernus leads an aggressive Rakdos extra-combat build. The deck strips life totals with repeated combats, using a low curve of hasty treasure-makers and goad effects to keep attackers unblocked. Agent of the Shadow Thieves is the second commander, giving Karlach a repeatable +1/+1, deathtouch, and indestructible trigger when she swings at the previously-least-opponent. While there are no infinite combos, a combination of Karlach, extra-combat spells, and snowballing token producers like Krenko can end games in one long turn. The build also sprinkles in stolen-card effects from Ragavan and Grenzo, offering incidental card advantage.
