Deck overview

This deck is a specialized four-color control and polymorph list helmed by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The list intentionally omits small creature cards from the 99, instead packing 18 high-cost, game-ending creatures and planeswalkers alongside noncreature token generators such as Skrelv's Hive, Dreadhorde Invasion, Staff of the Storyteller, and Lingering Souls. Supported by 13 low-mana ramp artifacts, the deck reliably casts Jace on Turn 4 and immediately activates his -3 loyalty ability to exile a token and cheat a massive threat like Archon of Cruelty, Serra's Emissary, or Archfiend of Despair into play. A robust removal suite featuring Sunfall, White Sun's Twilight, and Swords to Plowshares keeps opposing boards suppressed while alternate cheat spells like Mass Polymorph and Proteus Staff ensure redundant engine access. The deck wins by snowballing evasive beaters and devastating ETB triggers to overwhelm the table by Turn 7.
