Beckoner of Snakes by EchoedLies

Format: Commander

Commander: Xyris, the Writhing Storm

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a wheel-and-ping deck helmed by Xyris, the Writhing Storm, designed to force opponents into drawing extra cards and convert those draws into a massive snake-token army. The primary game plan is to deploy a wheel effect (e.g., Windfall, Reforge the Soul) while Xyris is on the battlefield, creating dozens of 1/1 Snakes. Those tokens then feed pinger permanents like Impact Tremors and Goblin Bombardment to deal lethal damage to all opponents in a single turn. The deck also includes a secondary win condition via Laboratory Maniac after drawing through the library, and can fall back on combat with Shared Animosity if the ping plan stalls. The build is explosive but heavily reliant on its few key pieces, lacking the tutors to find them reliably.
