Tetsuo, Sword Wielder by Peradajian

Format: Commander

Commander: Tetsuo, Imperial Champion

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Grixis Equipment Voltron deck helmed by Tetsuo, Imperial Champion. The plan is to suit Tetsuo with high-impact Equipment, attack to either ping for the greatest attached mana value or freecast an instant/sorcery of equal or lower cost, and convert that value into lethal combat through extra-combat engines and infect. Primary wins are infinite combats via Aggravated Assault plus Sword of Feast and Famine, multi-combat piles with Akki Battle Squad, and poison finishes through Grafted Exoskeleton or Tainted Strike. The dense Sword suite (Sword of Fire and Ice, Buster Sword, Sword of Wealth and Power, and others) supplies card advantage, protection, and ramp on connect, while free interaction (Deflecting Swat, Fierce Guardianship) and Conqueror's Flail shield the go-turn. Tetsuo is the premier attacker and freecast engine, but the Equipment and combat loops live in the 99 and can ride backup bodies.
