Deck overview

This is a classic Nekusar, the Mindrazer wheels-and-draw-punisher deck built to weaponize every extra card opponents draw. The primary game plan is to flood the table with symmetrical draw effects (Howling Mine-type enchantments, Windfall-style wheels) while punishing each draw through Nekusar's ping, Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, Orcish Bowmasters, Phyrexian Tyranny, and life-total pressure from Iron Maiden and Viseling. Wheels like Windfall, Whispering Madness, and Jace's Archivist provide burst card flow and trigger multiple damage instances. The deck also runs a robust control shell with free counterspells and premium removal to protect its commander and key pieces, aiming to grind the table down through incremental damage before closing with a massive wheel or Peer into the Abyss.
