Deck overview

This deck functions as a specialized Mono-Black Control deck that uses Zenos yae Galvus // Shinryu, Transcendent Rival to bypass traditional multiplayer kill requirements. By transforming Zenos into Shinryu, the deck ties its entire win condition to eliminating a single chosen opponent via the Burning Chains ability. In the early game, the deck controls the board using efficient -X/-X sweepers, targeted removal, and asymmetric denial engines like Maha, Its Feathers Night and Gisa, Glorious Resurrector. Once the board is under control, the deck uses focused single-target tools such as Sorin Markov, Vorpal Sword, or commander damage to eliminate the designated target quickly. Because the game ends as soon as that target loses, the deck achieves a faster clock than standard control decks without requiring complex multi-card infinite combos.
