Deck overview

This deck is a grindy, Esper (White/Blue/Black) control and drain strategy helmed by Y'shtola, Night's Blessed. The primary game plan revolves around slowing the game down with a dense suite of interaction and pillowfort pieces, then deploying Y'shtola to generate incremental value. By casting noncreature spells with a mana value of 3 or greater, the deck triggers Y'shtola to drain opponents for 2 life and gain 2 life. This synergizes perfectly with her secondary ability, allowing you to draw a card at the end step if an opponent lost 4 or more life.
