Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue artifact token swarm strategy commanded by Sai, Master Thopterist. The primary game plan focuses on deploying efficient mana rocks and cost reducers during the early turns to establish Sai on Turn 3 or 4. Once Sai is on the battlefield, casting cheap utility artifacts creates a flying army of 1/1 Thopter tokens while providing sacrifice fodder for card draw. The deck transitions into the midgame with scaling affinity threats like Kappa Cannoneer and Broodstar, card-draw engines like Shimmer Dragon and Vedalken Archmage, and massive team-wide pump effects like Graaz, Unstoppable Juggernaut and Forsaken Monument. A small suite of counterspells and defensive cards like Propaganda and Padeem, Consul of Innovation protect your board while your evasive army eliminates opponents through combat damage across Turns 6 to 8.
