Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue tempo and card advantage engine built around Vnwxt, Verbose Host. The strategy uses low-cost evasive creatures like Slither Blade and Mist-Cloaked Herald to deal combat damage every turn. Each hit increases your speed until you reach Max Speed (Speed 4) on Turn 5. Once at Max Speed, Vnwxt doubles every card you draw, giving you massive card advantage without a maximum hand size. The deck converts this influx of cards into decisive victories using alternate win conditions such as Psychosis Crawler, Triskaidekaphile, Twenty-Toed Toad, and Laboratory Maniac. A deep suite of counterspells and bounce interaction protects your engine and disrupts opponent game plans while you dig through your deck.
