Deck overview

This Dimir deck is a quintessential Draw-Go control list helmed by Nymris, Oona's Trickster. The core game plan focuses on establishing mana acceleration in the opening turns, casting Nymris at flash speed on an opponent's end step, and leveraging cheap instant spells to trigger Nymris repeatedly on every opponent's turn. This constant card selection fuels an exhaustive suite of countermagic, targeted removal, and bounce spells. Once the table's resources are depleted, the deck transitions into the win phase by deploying uncounterable or disruptive flash threats such as Hullbreaker Horror, Torrential Gearhulk, and Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir. While the deck excels at reactive disruption and card advantage, it relies on traditional combat damage to eliminate opponents, requiring multiple turns to finish the table after taking control.
