AZUZU by Gnomish

Format: Commander

Creator: Gnomish

Commander: Fire Lord Azula

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Grixis spellslinger deck leverages Fire Lord Azula to turn combat into an explosive spell-copying phase. When Azula attacks, her firebending generates red mana while unlocking her trigger to duplicate any spell cast while she is attacking. The deck capitalizes on this with low-cost combat tricks, burn spells, and card draw to rapidly stack lethal commander damage or burn through life totals. Backed by prowess threats like Tempest Angler and Angrath's Marauders for damage amplification, the deck aims to overwhelm opponents in sudden, high-velocity combat steps while maintaining card flow through cantrips and rummaging.
