Commander: Edgar Markov

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Edgar Markov is a Mardu Vampire swarm commander who needs to be cast only when the game opens up. The primary plan is to curve cheap Vampires and let his Eminence ability create a 1/1 token each time, then pump that horde with anthem lords and win by attacking with Sanctum Seeker and Vito draining every opponent. The secondary plan assembles an Exquisite Blood/Sanguine Bond loop, using Vito or Bloodthirsty Conqueror as redundant pieces and Beacon of Immortality or a simple attack as the trigger. Token multipliers (Mondrak, Ojer Taq, Exalted Sunborn) give explosive board growth, while the Blasphemous Act/Repercussion/Toralf package is a mass-damage alt win. No hidden commander drives the list; it is Edgar's Eminence deck.
