Life and Death by Aseric

Format: Commander

Commander: Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim is the deck's cheap life-gain/death-drain anchor. The plan is to flood the board with cheap tokens, let Elas and sacrifice outlets convert every death into opponent life loss, and layer in life-gain payoffs such as Epicure of Blood and South Wind Avatar to turn healing into additional damage. There is no true hidden commander, though Shredder, Shadow Master functions as an alternate half-life finisher. The deck is a grind deck: it wins through incremental drain and wide token combat, with recursion from Carmen, Cleric Class, and Reassembling Skeleton to survive removal.
