Wilson bring me the bacon by Rexdus

Format: Commander

Commander: Noble Heritage and Wilson, Refined Grizzly

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Selesyna Voltron/Counters deck leverages the dual-commander pairing of Wilson, Refined Grizzly and Noble Heritage. Wilson is a resilient, uncounterable 2/2 with vigilance, reach, trample, and ward {2}; the Background Noble Heritage provides a recurring +1/+1 counter engine and protection from opponents who choose to feed it. The primary game plan is to grow Wilson into a lethal commander-damage threat via his own upkeep triggers, Hardened Scales, and pump spells, then finish with double strike from Fireshrieker or Duelist's Heritage. Secondary wins come from combat damage dealt by other large creatures like Thrun, Breaker of Silence or Sergeant John Benton, supported by a dense suite of protection spells and instant-speed interaction. The deck grinds value through combat-draw engines (Toski, Bearer of Secrets, Ohran Frostfang) and flexible ramp, aiming to close out games through repeated, well-protected attacks.
