Deck overview

This deck uses Witch-king of Angmar as a resilient mono-black value commander while developing a sacrifice and reanimation shell. Ophiomancer, Reassembling Skeleton, Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Pitiless Plunderer, Grave Pact, and Dictate of Erebos turn expendable creatures into removal and life drain. Tutors and graveyard effects such as Entomb, Buried Alive, Demonic Tutor, Victimize, and Living Death provide strong access to creature-based lines. The cleanest finish is Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose with Exquisite Blood, but ordinary execution must also supply an initial opponent life-loss event and enough mana to deploy the package. That makes the combo powerful but slow and exposed. The deck has strong midgame attrition and recovery tools for creatures, but limited stack interaction and no reliable way to recover Exquisite Blood after it is destroyed. It is a capable general-power deck rather than a competitive Commander list.
