holy war finished by papawoody

Format: Commander

Commander: Shilgengar, Sire of Famine

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Orzhov deck uses Shilgengar, Sire of Famine as a Blood-fueled mass reanimator for an Angel-aristocrats shell. The primary plan sacrifices high-toughness Angels to Shilgengar to generate many Blood tokens, then spends six Blood to return the entire graveyard as Vampires with finality counters for a single explosive board. Secondary paths win without the commander through classic drain loops with Bastion of Remembrance, Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat and Cruel Celebrant, or through the two-card Exquisite Blood plus Sanguine Bond loop. Giada, Font of Hope acts as a hidden commander that accelerates Angels and enables the Giada-Shilgengar-Twilight Shepherd recursion line, while Razaketh provides tutor dominance.
