Deck overview

This deck is a Mono-Green tribal stompy strategy led by Beorn the Fierce. The primary game plan curves out with efficient Bears and Changelings on early turns, ramps into Beorn on Turn 4, and leverages the commander's combat trigger to turn utility creatures into Bears, grant trample, and draw two cards every turn cycle. On Turn 5, the deck transitions into lethal aggression by resolving massive pump spells such as Unnatural Growth or Overrun, or by deploying gigantic beaters like Gigantic Big Bear and Gigantosaurus. It protects its high-value board state using efficient 1-mana protection spells like Veil of Summer and Royal Treatment, while utilizing targeted removal like Beast Within and fight triggers from Ayula, Queen Among Bears to clear opposing obstacles. The deck steadily dismantles life totals across two turn rotations, closing the game around Turn 7.
