Deck overview

This is a Dimir Equipment Voltron deck helmed by Ghost, Spectral Saboteur. The plan is straightforward: deploy the cheap, flash, unblockable commander, suit him up with a dense Equipment package, and close via commander damage while converting every connect into cards and free spells. Payoffs like Buster Sword, The Key to the Vault, Bident of Thassa, and Curiosity turn each swing into massive advantage, while Blackblade Reforged, Thran Power Suit, and Bloodforged Battle-Axe scale Ghost into a lethal threat. Secondary angles include value creatures (Gix, Yawgmoth Praetor, Gonti, Night Minister, Mari, the Killing Quill), attrition via Painful Quandary and wipes, and late grindy reach from Golbez, Crystal Collector or Meathook Massacre II. The deck plays as a resilient, evasive beatdown strategy that snowballs combat damage into card advantage rather than relying on combos.
