Deck overview

This deck is a classic mono-green Elfball strategy led by Dionus, Elvish Archdruid. The game plan focuses on deploying efficient mana dorks during the early turns to ramp rapidly ahead of the table. Once Dionus enters the battlefield, every Elf gains a triggered ability that untaps it and grants a +1/+1 counter the first time it taps during your turn. This effectively doubles the mana output of all mana creatures and steadily grows the team. The deck channels this massive mana surge into overwhelming overrun payoffs, headlined by Craterhoof Behemoth and Ezuri, Renegade Leader, to deliver decisive combat knockouts by turns 5 and 6. While the deck boasts exceptional mana velocity and board scaling, it trades off reactive disruption and stax elements, relying instead on high creature density, burst draw spells like Regal Force, and selective protection spells like Heroic Intervention to close the game before opponents can stabilize.
