Hojo Slab Battles by DoodeMangBro

Format: Commander

Commander: Professor Hojo

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Professor Hojo is a mono-green equipment/aura voltron commander: his discount makes the first equip or targeted activation each turn free, and his draw trigger replaces that card while suiting up. The primary line is to park Hojo behind hexproof/indestructible and stack equipment until an attack deals 21+ commander damage. The best equipment are the scaling ones - Golem-Skin Gauntlets, Thran Power Suit, Bloodforged Battle-Axe - and Brass Knuckles gives the needed double strike. There is no true hidden commander; Thrun, Breaker of Silence and Wilson, Refined Grizzly are the most resilient backup carriers. Secondary paths include Metalwork Colossus beats and incremental +1/+1 counter growth, but the game is won through Hojo's commander damage.
