Tergrid, God of Fright by Musicalmed77

Format: Commander

Commander: Tergrid, God of Fright // Tergrid's Lantern

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Tergrid, God of Fright is a mono-black discard-and-sacrifice engine. The deck plans to strip opponents' hands and boards, then use Tergrid's front-face trigger to steal the nontoken permanents they lose. The Lantern face is a useful backup enabler but does not grant the theft trigger, so the front face is the primary commander. With Vampire drainers and the Exquisite Blood/Defiant Bloodlord loop, it can pivot from grinding value to an instant life-total win. Reanimation spells and tutors let it assemble the combo through the graveyard, while Black Market Connections and Necropotence keep the cards flowing. It is a proactive control deck that wins by converting opponent resources into your own board.
