Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis kindred midrange build commanded by Doctor Doom, King of Latveria. The strategy revolves around assembling an army of comic book Villains, utilizing the connive mechanic to sculpt your hand, grow your creatures with +1/+1 counters, and fuel graveyard synergies. Doctor Doom provides consistent combat pressure by granting menace each turn and punishing land discards with direct table-wide life loss. The deck transitions into the mid-to-late game by deploying formidable threats such as The Squadron Sinister, Doctor Octopus, Master Planner, and Behold the Sinister Six! to overwhelm opposing defenses. While the deck boasts extensive combat evasion and strong board wipe packages, it lacks fast-mana acceleration and dedicated combo finishes. Instead, it relies on steady attrition, evasive combat lines, and resilient recursion to gradually grind down opponents and secure victory.
